The hub of KCLCT is the distribution warehouse near Chester, just over the border in North Wales. At any one time, we have over 25.000 product lines available, with access to many more.  These include the following:

• The distribution of most Christian book publishers, the vast majority from the UK and USA
• An increasing range of foreign language books to serve our multi-cultural society
• All the main Christian worship and contemporary music labels
• The leading films and DVDs
• Christian Resources including communion supplies

For those of you familiar with the website clcbookshops.com, this has now been superseded by equippingthechurch.com.  This fits with our intention to provide resources that equip the church and its members with resources that are useful and life changing.  The website will increasingly highlight ministries and publishers, as well as becoming a resource centre for churches and Christians, not just a place make purchases. A key element is the ability to sign up as an Equip member which provides updated information, key resources and discounted prices.

KCLCT also provides websites for other groups. We have a wholesale site to supply bookshops and the Christian trade, and we have developed a website for the Vineyard group of churches. 

Equip

 We believe that the Word of God, Christian books and Christian resources equip the church:

• All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17
• Now may the God of peace ……. equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Heb. 13:20-21
• Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. Eph. 4:11-12

With this in mind, we have focused our attention on the concept of ‘Equip’.

Currently we have one bookshop based in the Kings Church, Aberdeen. The resource centre is called Equip.

Conferences & Events

We are proud to run 2 conferences a year. Mission Worship; a conference aimed at resourcing and equipping worship leaders across the UK & beyond which has been running for over 25 years & Hand in Hand Conference; a conference for resourcing Children’s and Families workers which has been running for over 20 years. 

 Pandemics permitting (!) we are committed to supplying Christian events, conferences and camps with Christian resources.  This is done under the banner of Equipping the Church.  Although so many resources are purchased online, there is nothing quite like leafing through the pages of a book or getting a personal recommendation. 

In 2022 we trust that many more events will be possible, and we hope to see you there. Do come and say hello!
