CLC International Family

Kingsway CLC Trust is part of an international mission family called CLC International. It is comprised of 46 legally independent organisations that chose to work together for the common goal of the distribution of Bibles, evangelical Christian books and Christian resources. Since the founding of CLC in 1941, the aim has always been to make these resources available even in places where it may be difficult or even dangerous.  It is not driven by the search for profit, but rather identifying where we can make a difference. It is for this reason that CLC works in some of the poorer nations of Africa such as Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone and Mozambique, and why the work extended rapidly into Eastern Europe and even Central Asia after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Around the world the work of CLC encompasses around 130 bookshops, more than 20 distribution warehouses and 20 publishing houses.  Increasingly our publishing is becoming a global effort as we are able to share resources and training. With the rapid move to the online distribution of Bibles and books, we have set up more than 25 commercial websites, many based on the same platform that has been developed internally.

With our roots in the church planting mission, WEC International, we have always been a Great Commission mission, knowing that many people come to know Christ through reading his Word or a good Christian book.
