Building a Kingdom Hub in Oltepesi

Spreading the Word. Reaching the World.

For nearly two decades, CLC Kenya has been faithfully serving the Lord—publishing, distributing, and mentoring, equipping the Church and nurturing a new generation of African authors. Now, by God’s grace, a long-awaited dream is becoming reality: the establishment of a permanent home for this work. This is not simply a milestone. It is a moment of faith becoming visible.

A Milestone of Faith

At the close of 2024, CLC Kenya acquired four acres of land in Tinga-Oltepesi, Kajiado County, around 68 kilometres southwest of Nairobi. This was more than a land purchase; it was a testimony to God’s faithfulness since the ministry began in 2007.

The choice of Oltepesi was both prayerful and strategic. Nairobi continues to expand in this direction, with a population approaching six million and key infrastructure developments, including the Magadi Road highway, improving access to the area. Yet beyond its growth potential, Oltepesi offers something equally important—a sense of space and quiet, creating the right environment for mentoring authors, discipling leaders, and hosting ministry initiatives.

Building for the Future

Progress is already underway. In May 2025, the land was secured with a perimeter fence, marking the first step in transforming the site into a place of lasting impact. By October, construction had begun on the ground floor of a two-storey administration building.

This facility will house the heart of CLC Kenya’s work, including CLC Publishing & Printing, the African Christian Authors Book Award (ACABA), and Mama Africa Book Box (MABB). These initiatives are already shaping Christian publishing and authorship across the continent, and this new space will enable them to grow further.

A Vision Beyond Buildings

This new headquarters is not simply an administrative centre. It is being developed as a Kingdom hub—a place where faith, creativity, and community come together. Plans include retreat space for writers and creatives, alongside a conference facility designed to serve the wider Body of Christ.

Set away from the distractions of the city but still accessible, Oltepesi will be a place where ideas are formed, voices are nurtured, and lives are shaped through the power of God’s Word. It will be a space where discipleship deepens and Christian creativity flourishes.

A Call to Stand With Us

As this new chapter unfolds, there is deep gratitude—for God’s provision, and for the partners, friends, and prayer supporters who have walked this journey so far. This has never been a solitary effort. It is a shared mission.

Looking ahead, there is also an invitation. CLC Kenya continues to need prayer, support, and partnership as construction progresses. Whether through prayer, visiting the site, or contributing financially, each act of support plays a part in bringing this vision to life.

Building a Legacy of Faith

This is more than a construction project. It is the foundation for future ministry—where writers will find rest and inspiration, where discipleship will deepen, and where Christian creativity will flourish for generations to come.

What began as a vision is now taking shape in the soil of Oltepesi, built brick by brick through God’s grace and the generosity of His people.

Will you be part of this story?

Please continue to pray for the team leading this work, especially Patrick and Muthoni Omukhango, as they carry this vision forward with faith, courage, and perseverance. Together, we can establish a lasting home for ministry that will equip believers, nurture authors, and proclaim Christ across Africa and beyond.
